VICTORY PARADE AND PARTY IN THE PARK SAT 14 SEPTEMBER
On Saturday 14 September 2013 several hundred people marched on our Victory Parade (in the rain!) past our amazing Lewisham Hospital.
Hundreds of people in
Ladywell Fields enjoyed the Party in the Park – a fantastic celebration of our High Court victory over the government.

Yes it is a tremendous achievement, and huge credit and congratulations to all those involved – and particularly those who got it all going in the first place! But the fight continues, it will get harder but it will be more necessary than ever. One of the most important battles (I think unfortunately it will be a battle) will be to get the Labour Party to commit NOW (2015 will be too late)to:
    – cancelling PFI contracts WITHOUT COMPENSATION as a first priority.
    – re-nationalising sold-off NHS services.
    – providing appropriate resources to make patient & public involvement real instead of, as now, the shadow for the substance.
And the TUC must commit NOW to a REAL fight for those priorities – whoever wins in 2015!
